Love when the sound is crashing in on me
Love how the lights awake the night
Love where we stand before eternity
Love what I'm feelin' deep inside
Love how the lights awake the night
Love where we stand before eternity
Love what I'm feelin' deep inside
Welcome to London.
Sure, the old buildings and upscale teahouses may be the focus of life during the morning, but anyone who's who in this city knows that nightfall is when it all begins--when the clubs turn on their lights and open for business. It's one of the most famous scenes in the world; many say that there is no city that can match it, not Dubai, not Taipei, not Seattle, not even New York City. There are the establishments that run high and mighty, with crystal shot glasses, exotic liquors, and high-influence patrons; then, there's the underground, smaller places that may not be as shiny but the atmosphere is intoxicating.
Two things never change, though, no matter which you choose. First, the DJ is the focus of the club. He is the one that sets the mood, has the crowd lost in the moment, riding the waves of an emotion; grinding or slow dancing, raising your glass and singing out loud even. Being one of these all-important musicians is not easy; you're never ensured a steady job, and if one night your mix is lacking, you are liable to be replaced the next.
Second, guests and regulars alike from all around the world still flock to the darkness and the reckless abandon, looking for their good time after a long day of work.
The London nightclub scene is where dreams are made and broken. How will you fit in to the night life?
